Blackpool and The Fylde College select Accord for Purchasing Contract Management System

The College is governed by the Corporation Board, a group of individuals who represent the interests of the College and also the communities it serves.

The Board meets regularly to provide the College with direction and advice, to set policy objectives and to ensure the College is fulfilling its mission and upholding its values.A key function in the College is the management of the Contracts that BTFC has in place with their supply chain who deliver goods and services to the College.

Pat Condon, Procurement and Legal Services Manager said: “The database has allowed us for the first time to operate an inclusive central repository for all contracted suppliers to the College. We can now electronically access all contract documentation, credit rating history and performance management reviews by contracted supplier in one location. This makes reviewing the performance of contracted suppliers far easier to manage. Accord also electronically notifies the team in advance when contracts are due to expire which helps with planning future tendering opportunities”

BTFC brought in the Targets contract management systems to help with the control and compliance of these important documents.
